A Poll
A while back I did a casual poll on where people found the CS games initially. I'd like to do a few more polls, occasionally, on general things. Many aren't specific to development of the CS games, but more to the general opinions/mindset of people playing and buying games in general. I promise I won't spam these, but it's useful to have some insight into where people are coming from. With that in mind:
The release of GTA 6 isn't far off now, and much more is known about appearance, size, gameplay, story, characters and so on. This being the case, how excited are you for the (GTA) release?:
a. Best thing every, already pre-ordered, I'm taking time off work to play when it comes out.
b. Seems pretty good, will probably wait for release and a few reviews, and then buy within a month or so of release if things look good.
c. Meh. Might pick it up in a few years when/if it ever goes on sale.
d. I have no real excitement for or interest in the game at this point.
e. I have NEGATIVE excitement, and actually hate/dislike the game at this point.

you know when you edge too much to a point where it hurts? when your balls are so blue that even nutting at this point is not as pleasant as it is painful? between it being announced and it being released i've graduated from college, found a job and got invested in a world of indie games, including this one. one is of genuine belief that is has been so long it can't be worth the wait.

Don't really support PS/Sony current strategy with game discs (Also dont own one lol) and feel that streamers have been glazing it, making it seem like the game will be the best in history just cause people have been waiting for years. It killed any hype for me.
D, I don't think that GTA 6 will even be that good, and I am thrown off by the whole code in box thing for the physical edition, as well as the whole price range for the game, I think it's really unfair to consumers.
E. Rockstar sucks so bad and I just want to watch it fail but it wont :(
E. Never been interested in the franchise anyway but as others have mentioned GTA6 has become emblematic of like, every reason out there to hate the AAA industry. I personally extremely don't like that they've made it like, Too Big To Fail, where when if it sold like 20+ million copies on launch it'd still be a failure. no game should be that big imo, budgets that large feel wasteful presumptuous and disgusting.

D. GTA just isn't my thing

c. Not gonna buy a whole ps5 to play it, tbh it'd like it to bomb but that it's impossible. When it comes to pc I'll burn that bridge.
E. I liked GTA3-5, but the level of desperate advertising, how they're treating employees, possibility of AI usage, it's all making me say No Thanks. Might get it on sale eventually, but not really excited at all.
Much more excited for your game coming out.
D. Iv'e kinda moved away from Gta style-games nowadays.
I prefer strategy games !

C. GTA was a console game for me, now on PC it doesn't really have the same appeal. Also new games coming out are really subpar, and GTA might need some polish or updates, maybe some good DLC before I think of buying it.
