The hard bad end implies the story ends there, but the others are equally valid going into the next chapter and will change things in small ways, as I'll have a mechanism for transferring certain stats and story switches from game to game.
Is that 6 months until its playable like this chapter was released...almost like a demo kinda thing...or is it going to be released in full with just some minor bug fixes if needed later on?
More or less like this chapter. I'd expect it to be about 80-90% content-complete: most but not all endings, most but not all scenes etc. There will be more to explore though, as it's a bit bigger all around.

Really enjoyed it! Love the hypno angle, and nice to see a twinkish m/m content (as a bit of a twink myself). My one complaint is I wish the number of encounters was either toned down a little bit, or stealth was more of a viable option. In both slut mode and normal mode it feels like a bit of a slog getting through all of them, and trying to get past usually results in 3 encounters in a row (making the normal ending a little annoying to get) Otherwise very good, love the art and the writing! Can't wait to see more!

There's always going to be a fair bit of encounters in these games, as the sex mechanics are a big part of the game and there has to be space to explore/encounter them. I will admit the overall feel of the encounters can still be improved, and I'll be tweaking a number of things in the second chapter, both on a basic level and just to add some variety. That said, it shouldn't be THAT much of a slog. Enemies don't respawn when you're "defeated," and you only have to defeat enough to clear a pathway forward. The whole thing should be clearable in an hour or so. Also, remember you can toggle off the battlesex by unequipping the clips, which both makes things easier and speeds them up a bit.
I will admit fighting through the stair guard legit is tough though.
I think my main issue is individual fights take awhile, and that since you can only heal with items or dying (to my knowledge) it means the normal route makes you feel like wasting resources is really bad.
also while i still have the chance, just wanna say i really like the bad ending. Mezz looks super cute in eyeliner and with gauges. Really big fan of seeing proud characters turned into effeminate sluts. Super hot.
Ha, no problem. It's partially my fault: I hate games that over-explain, so everything is kind of left up to the player to discover. I think that makes for a better game overall, but it does mean people miss things sometimes.
OOH this is GOOD! It's such a fun twist on hypnosis, the battle mechanics feel great, the art's very good for how simple the style is, and the story so far is a great hook!! I didn't expect to like the battle mechanics as much as I did, but I actually think they're pretty brilliant! Using your own power to heal after fights, but having to regenerate that power during fights is a fantastic mechanic! And any shortcomings it may have are easily avoided by the presence of health and power items to collect in the environment.
I want more So badly. I need to know more about these clips- who made them and put them there for Mezz, if there are other pieces that go with them... Perhaps if there's a dangerous, attractive mastermind with a grudge or in need of a toy... I loved the dialogue and the little subtle lines from the enemies. The "boar says something strange" line was a FANTASTIC way for the hypnosis to trigger, although I hope perhaps in the future Mezz will get to hear those lines as he falls deeper? Seriously though, all of the hypnosis was brilliantly done. I can't wait to see what you do next!

Really solid game dude! From start to end it was a real good tip, and i like that there was an option to play normally. I did a few play throughs to see if i missed anything and enjoyed ever moment. I do admit i wish there was more then suck, but i can tell this was a labor of love more so then longevity so ill take what i can get. But if you do any more games or update this one with more do keep up the good work all the same.

Game kinda sucks. It's way too freaking hard with the mashers. And losing a level for touching the slime chest is the most unfair bullshit I have ever heard of. Combine that with a thousand game overs and I honestly hate this game.
Normally I welcome criticism, but looking at your comment history I can see you're not really interested in anything constructive, which is too bad. The game certainly has flaws, some of which will be fixed, others of which will at least be learned from for future games. There's no reason for the attitude though. It's possible to discuss flaws without being rude (as most of the comments below demonstrate).
I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of games like this, but in this case I'm glad I made an exception. A very hot game, and I very much enjoyed the various different scenes (and slut mode!)
My only real criticism would be to maybe have a few more events during battles? As in, more than just oral (anal, facesitting, etc etc). Either way, great game, and I'm very much looking forward to the upcoming chapters! I hope we do get to see the boars again, or maybe some permanent consequences for getting slut-mode!

But every extra action I add means a whole bunch more assets that have to be drawn up, and the sex sprites are especially bad as they're usually completely unique poses! So there's a time budget, as with everything. But there will definitely be some new variety coming up.
Yeah, I can imagine. If not more art/sprites, then maybe a little more written description or maybe have the characters talk a little more? Anyway, just my 2 cents, you know what you're doing either way.

Nicely done! It is possible to get past them as well. Keep in mind that taking off the clips disables the sex moves, which makes that fight considerably easier.

I also thought to report a small bug I found: during the battle with Diezel in slut mode, after the first "breakpoint" all the skills in "Special" were doubled and the first set of four skills had their normal name, while the other four had the modified name as they should.
Hmm, that's no good. The skills are supposed to have the same name of course, that's the gag, but there definitely shouldn't be lingering skills. Is it reproducible, and do you have a save right before the fight that reliably brings out the behavior? I ask because I'm fairly sure I played through that several times without getting that bug to show up, but I could have missed it somehow. Will definitely take a look. Never mind, got it. It seems fine if you win the first time, but if you loop it looks like it doesn't get rid of the first set of skill like it's suppose to. Will update when I've got a fix.
Hiya, I wanted to say this is a great game, deisgns are nice, I like how there's 2 different routes you can play, just one small issue i've noticed when playing. Durning the Slut route you can kind of easily get perma stuck in combat due to many unlucky rng rolls, the sucking mid battle can be overwritten by multiple enemies, making the heal you recieve by ending the suck also not happen, making most of the encounters in that mode purely a coin flip. But anyway the game is good and i hope this can be kind of fixed
Thanks much! Interesting bug. I'm not sure I'm entirely following though. What do you mean by perma stuck, and by "overwritten"? Once you're in a battle sex pose, it should be about four or five "actions" (either the enemy using a sex move or you doing so) before one of the enemies cums and is eliminated. Let me know if it's taking significantly longer than that. You do spend most of every fight getting fucked in slut mode, by design, but this should lead to a gradual "defeat" of the enemies by that means.
okay so to clarify some of the terms i used perma stuck -you are kind of stuck in the battle till you die due to the sex pose being "overwritten" by the enemies overwritten - so i've noticed that an enemy can also use the ability that starts the sex pose, durning another enemy's sex pose, so let's say, you're at your 3rd turn, so you should be done with that enemy, but instead another enemy activates the pose, resetting the cooldown, leading to most of the fight getting stuck in that, until you reach the lust bar 4 times, knocking you out. I'm not saying it's that major of an issue, but it happened 2 times durning my slut mode run so i wondered if it's intentional or not
Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. So the countdown that ends the sex, incremented by each sex action by you or the enemies, gets reset sometimes by them doing another grab move mid-fuck? That's what I thought you might be saying, but wanted to clarify. That's definitely not intended behavior, but if it only came up twice in a run I probably won't bother fixing for now, both because it will be harder to coax out the behavior for testing and because it isn't interfering with gameplay too much. For now, as long as there isn't anything super serious (or trivially easy to fix) I want to focus my energy on getting chapter two done. Still appreciate the report though, and will keep an eye out, as I'll probably end up having to patch in in chapter two eventually anyway.
Aw, thanks. I've heard that a few times now: that people don't like RPGs or even hypnosis, but game works for them, which is great! Ironically, part of it might be that I'm not a huge RPG person myself, at least in that I don't like super complex systems. I have to keep it relatively simple for my own sanity, and maybe that has the additional benefit of making it more accessible as well.

It's probably something to do with the permissions on your folders, or possibly a weird path. As an experiment, try putting the folder in another location, another drive if possible, and just on its own, not inside of anything else.
Nope. The slut ending, ie the "good" ending, happens after losing 3 times to the mobs and finishing the boss. Winning fights, by whatever means, doesn't increase the counter.
Love the game, the slut endding and very curious if getting the slut endding soft locks the the game or soft locks furture boar runnings and more hypno items are going to be introduced as the game progresses untill you have the hero fight crime by sucking and rideing then wacking and dodging?
I've actually encountered this "bug" myself: it's the mouse. Because RPGMaker MV is designed to be touch-screen compatible (yech), everything can be navigated with either traditional keyboard or solely with mouse. However the mouse overrules the keyboard, so if you have it, say, over an enemy, you won't be able to select a new enemy (until that one dies). Fix is easy: just move your mouse off the window.
I don't usually comment but I see alot of potential in this game! If you ever open a Kofi or Patreon, I'll definitely support this project. I look forward to more.

While their policies are pretty restrictive and strangely enforced, there's definitely creators on Patreon who are doing great, with more risque stuff even. I think Doggie_Bones is a good example of this, and their schedule isn't terribly different from what you've described. Just something I wanted to bring up, as I hope to see the project succeed!
To be clear, the specific issue is hypno. Hypno is specifically against Patreon's rules, either written or unwritten, and you WILL get nuked eventually if you try to create an account there and do hypno stuff. Are there artists there doing hypno stuff (and all kinds of other stuff that's against the rules)? Sure. They haven't been reported yet. As soon as someone decides to report, you're done. Have seen it happen several times.
That said, several people have asked over the past few months, so I may eventually open up a SubscribeStar if people just want a way to automatically toss $5 a month at me. There wouldn't be anything extra for it, but if enough people want to donate that way I may look into it eventually.
This game is impressive!! Especially the boss fight in slut mode makes me think this game has the potential to be one of the best Hypno games. Thank you for making this game. I'll keep eye on future updates!!

Ah, sorry, wasn't sure if that triggered notifications or not. I just put up a new version of 0.3.1 to fix some bugs with the ear clips and some sprites not displaying right in battle occasionally. Nothing exciting, so I didn't make an announcement, but I did update the changelog post for 0.3.1. If you're ever curious and I haven't made a post explaining, the answer will probably be at the end of the most recent changelog post.
Technically this is bad form, but it felt goofy to do a new version number for two bug fixes, so I just rolled them into the old one.
Minor big fixes is exactly what the third version number is for though. I think if only for documentation purposes "0.3.2" is perfectly fine, especially since people having problems with those bugs could easily see they've been fixed that way.
Oh I know it's a perfectly acceptable (and even recommended) usage of the versioning system, and if there had been even a few more bugs included I probably would have made it 0.3.2. I just hate to spam everyone for literally two bug fixes. Now that I know it spams everyone ANYWAY though, may do so in the future.
i played plenty furry games here AND plenty games beyond this, so I'm pretty sure i know what I'm talking about too lol. You do clearly need to have some level of effort put into the first couple of fights but once you get some items to help you heal (despite already having a healing ability and focus ability) then it should be much easier than it already is. Reminder, it's a game.
Besides, there's no point in trying to fight every single enemy either.
Difficulty is highly relative the person playing obviously. Compared to most of what's out there though, especially the Japanese stuff, the game is fairly easy currently (though if you want it to be easier, remember that the clips are removable). It is indeed mostly a matter of swapping between the normal attack and the special, with an occasional re-up of energy, and unless you get unlucky with RNG the hardest part should mostly just be the slowness of wading through the encounters and making sure you don't waste items.
And I hate to be harsh, but avoiding combat is absolutely a valid and intended strategy here. It's a trade-off: You cover ground faster if you succeed, but if you fail you'll probably get swarmed and have to deal with several encounters back-to-back. So you can cautiously snipe everyone, or just open up a window and run through, the choice is up to the player. It's certainly not a serious stealth game with hiding mechanics and all that, but the enemies are actual sprites rather than random tile encounters for a reason.
Would be great if you make anything to push enemies away so you wont have multiple battles arow without stats refilling.+Would be great if you make a quick tutorial and point out on "patch up" and "focus" abilities (because this took me 1.5 walkthroughs (and alot more time) to found out about these abilities)
No, the "stacking" effect can be annoying, but it's intentional. It's risk/reward: try to rush through quick and risk getting surrounded like that, or go more methodically so you can be sure you have a chance to patch up after every battle. I probably won't add a scene guide inside the game, although there will probably be a gallery at some point in the distant future (new chapters are a higher priority). Not sure what you mean by multiple enemies at one sprite, but if you're talking about multiple enemy types in a battle, maybe. The scripting for that gets complicated considering all the extra stuff I'm doing for the sex system, and I probably won't make any changes to this chapter, but we'll see on future ones.
By multiple sprites i mean... well basicly if theres more than 1 enemy they all gonna join in sex scene VISUALLY (just standing behind pleasing themself,or changing whole action.)
Ah, ok. No, probably not. It would be neat, but the complexity behind the scenes of handling the scripting for that would be more than I want to tackle. As for "Patch Up" and "Focus," they should both have descriptions when selected.
So, going to be honest, I'm not usually into this kinda stuff; namely gay and/or furry, but HOLY SHIT, this is fantastic.
For some context, it's worth noting that I actually enjoyed those elements in this one, possibly due to my liking for hypnosis, and it just works so well. I've also had FAR too many encounters with games made in RPG Maker and the like that seem to want to spend the first 20-40 minutes setting up the universe via dialog and no gameplay, but this one is short and sweet before letting you get right into it.
About the only things I found somewhat irritating, was Mezz's proclivity to miss, and how during h-grabs in combat, that sometimes if there are multiple assailants, one will still "reach out for Mezz" repeatedly, trapping me in endless grabs until I struggle free (which being honest, the low chance of success on those is a bit irritating as well) or hit max lust. Found myself losing against standard enemies quite often from missing 2 out of 3 skill use hits and then getting locked into hypnosis for most the rest of battle cause of the somewhat heavy energy cost.
Overall though I find myself weirdly anxious and giddy to see what comes next in this (dono'd $5, I ain't got much, but you more than deserve it).
As someone who's been far too into both the hypno thing and these kinds of games for far too long, I think both have a lot of untapped potential. "Furry" started as a fandom around the "funny animal characters" Disney, Warner and others were doing, and the whole reason they were drawing talking animals in the first place was that it's easy mode to make something aesthetically, emotionally and psychologically appealing, far more so than a human character. The fact that "furry" artists have flubbed this "on a silver platter" potential so much that "furry" is synonymous with disgust, horror and cringe is wild. I'm far from a master artist, but I'd like to think Mezz at least has his moments.
And yes, a lot of first-time RPG makers get a little too caught up in the ordinary, boring stuff (a lot of VN makers too for that matter). I didn't just decide to make a porn game one day, I've been marinating in this stuff for years, so I know that pain firsthand. Decent pacing was a big priority going into this, so I'm glad that comes across.
Yeeeah, RNG in RPGMaker. If you've looked at some of the other comments (if not I don't blame you, there's a lot to dig through) this has been my bane so far with CS. It's a lot better now than it used to be: I had to implement a bunch of new systems to put a cap on things so if, for example, you try and fail to struggle out 3 times, the fourth is an auto-success. Same thing with grabs and a bunch of thing, because otherwise it often went on FOREVER. There's something odd with the RPGMaker RNG where it seems to get "stuck" sometimes rather than genuinely re-rolling each time. This makes the chance for an action to succeed frustrating to try to control because "90% success rate" will mean instant success one time, and FIVE FAILS IN A ROW the next. All of this is to say that if you're having a battle with a ton of misses or fails, I feel the pain and haven't been able to tune it much better yet. In testing I'll often do a battle against a set of enemies and barely scrape by, then fight them again later and absolutely obliterate them. But, efforts are ongoing, and like I said, better than it was.
That said, if you have multiple enemies they should only keep grabbing you until one succeeds in pulling you into sex. After that the rest should flip to using either the "enjoys the show" skill or the skill to participate in the action. If there are still grabs after one succeeds, that may mean there's a bug I need to hunt, so let me know if you can reproduce it consistently.
But again, thanks. Seeing stuff like this helps a lot during the long slog of development (though I am still a bit excited about Chapter 2 myself.)

You can actually heal with a skill too, when out of combat: "Patch up." I can see it being a fair bit harder without that.

I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of games like this, but in this case I'm glad I made an exception. A very hot game, and I very much enjoyed the various different scenes (and slut mode!)
My only real criticism would be to maybe have a few more events during battles? As in, more than just oral (anal, facesitting, etc etc). Either way, great game, and I'm very much looking forward to the upcoming chapters! I hope we do get to see the boars again, or maybe some permanent consequences for getting slut-mode!
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it! Believe me, I'd like to have more going on in battle too, and chapter 2 juuust might. But every extra action I add means a whole bunch more assets that have to be drawn up, and the sex sprites are especially bad as they're usually completely unique poses! So there's a time budget, as with everything. But there will definitely be some new variety coming up.
Yeah, I can imagine. If not more art/sprites, then maybe a little more written description or maybe have the characters talk a little more? Anyway, just my 2 cents, you know what you're doing either way.

Nicely done! It is possible to get past them as well. Keep in mind that taking off the clips disables the sex moves, which makes that fight considerably easier.

I also thought to report a small bug I found: during the battle with Diezel in slut mode, after the first "breakpoint" all the skills in "Special" were doubled and the first set of four skills had their normal name, while the other four had the modified name as they should.

The skills are supposed to have the same name of course, that's the gag, but there definitely shouldn't be lingering skills. Is it reproducible, and do you have a save right before the fight that reliably brings out the behavior? I ask because I'm fairly sure I played through that several times without getting that bug to show up, but I could have missed it somehow. Will definitely take a look.Never mind, got it. It seems fine if you win the first time, but if you loop it looks like it doesn't get rid of the first set of skill like it's suppose to. Hiya, I wanted to say this is a great game, deisgns are nice, I like how there's 2 different routes you can play, just one small issue i've noticed when playing. Durning the Slut route you can kind of easily get perma stuck in combat due to many unlucky rng rolls, the sucking mid battle can be overwritten by multiple enemies, making the heal you recieve by ending the suck also not happen, making most of the encounters in that mode purely a coin flip. But anyway the game is good and i hope this can be kind of fixed
Thanks much! Interesting bug. I'm not sure I'm entirely following though. What do you mean by perma stuck, and by "overwritten"? Once you're in a battle sex pose, it should be about four or five "actions" (either the enemy using a sex move or you doing so) before one of the enemies cums and is eliminated. Let me know if it's taking significantly longer than that. You do spend most of every fight getting fucked in slut mode, by design, but this should lead to a gradual "defeat" of the enemies by that means.
okay so to clarify some of the terms i used
perma stuck -you are kind of stuck in the battle till you die due to the sex pose being "overwritten" by the enemies
overwritten - so i've noticed that an enemy can also use the ability that starts the sex pose, durning another enemy's sex pose, so let's say, you're at your 3rd turn, so you should be done with that enemy, but instead another enemy activates the pose, resetting the cooldown, leading to most of the fight getting stuck in that, until you reach the lust bar 4 times, knocking you out.
I'm not saying it's that major of an issue, but it happened 2 times durning my slut mode run so i wondered if it's intentional or not
Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. So the countdown that ends the sex, incremented by each sex action by you or the enemies, gets reset sometimes by them doing another grab move mid-fuck? That's what I thought you might be saying, but wanted to clarify. That's definitely not intended behavior, but if it only came up twice in a run I probably won't bother fixing for now, both because it will be harder to coax out the behavior for testing and because it isn't interfering with gameplay too much. For now, as long as there isn't anything super serious (or trivially easy to fix) I want to focus my energy on getting chapter two done. Still appreciate the report though, and will keep an eye out, as I'll probably end up having to patch in in chapter two eventually anyway.
Aw, thanks. I've heard that a few times now: that people don't like RPGs or even hypnosis, but game works for them, which is great! Ironically, part of it might be that I'm not a huge RPG person myself, at least in that I don't like super complex systems. I have to keep it relatively simple for my own sanity, and maybe that has the additional benefit of making it more accessible as well.

It's probably something to do with the permissions on your folders, or possibly a weird path. As an experiment, try putting the folder in another location, another drive if possible, and just on its own, not inside of anything else.

Nope. The slut ending, ie the "good" ending, happens after losing 3 times to the mobs and finishing the boss. Winning fights, by whatever means, doesn't increase the counter.

Love the game, the slut endding and very curious if getting the slut endding soft locks the the game or soft locks furture boar runnings and more hypno items are going to be introduced as the game progresses untill you have the hero fight crime by sucking and rideing then wacking and dodging?
I won't give too much away at moment. Generally though, there will be small consequences of how you end each chapter that will carry over to the next.

I've actually encountered this "bug" myself: it's the mouse. Because RPGMaker MV is designed to be touch-screen compatible (yech), everything can be navigated with either traditional keyboard or solely with mouse. However the mouse overrules the keyboard, so if you have it, say, over an enemy, you won't be able to select a new enemy (until that one dies). Fix is easy: just move your mouse off the window.

While their policies are pretty restrictive and strangely enforced, there's definitely creators on Patreon who are doing great, with more risque stuff even. I think Doggie_Bones is a good example of this, and their schedule isn't terribly different from what you've described. Just something I wanted to bring up, as I hope to see the project succeed!
To be clear, the specific issue is hypno. Hypno is specifically against Patreon's rules, either written or unwritten, and you WILL get nuked eventually if you try to create an account there and do hypno stuff. Are there artists there doing hypno stuff (and all kinds of other stuff that's against the rules)? Sure. They haven't been reported yet. As soon as someone decides to report, you're done. Have seen it happen several times.
That said, several people have asked over the past few months, so I may eventually open up a SubscribeStar if people just want a way to automatically toss $5 a month at me. There wouldn't be anything extra for it, but if enough people want to donate that way I may look into it eventually.
This game is impressive!! Especially the boss fight in slut mode makes me think this game has the potential to be one of the best Hypno games. Thank you for making this game. I'll keep eye on future updates!!

Ah, sorry, wasn't sure if that triggered notifications or not. I just put up a new version of 0.3.1 to fix some bugs with the ear clips and some sprites not displaying right in battle occasionally. Nothing exciting, so I didn't make an announcement, but I did update the changelog post for 0.3.1. If you're ever curious and I haven't made a post explaining, the answer will probably be at the end of the most recent changelog post.
Technically this is bad form, but it felt goofy to do a new version number for two bug fixes, so I just rolled them into the old one.
Minor big fixes is exactly what the third version number is for though. I think if only for documentation purposes "0.3.2" is perfectly fine, especially since people having problems with those bugs could easily see they've been fixed that way.
Oh I know it's a perfectly acceptable (and even recommended) usage of the versioning system, and if there had been even a few more bugs included I probably would have made it 0.3.2. I just hate to spam everyone for literally two bug fixes. Now that I know it spams everyone ANYWAY though, may do so in the future.

i played plenty furry games here AND plenty games beyond this, so I'm pretty sure i know what I'm talking about too lol. You do clearly need to have some level of effort put into the first couple of fights but once you get some items to help you heal (despite already having a healing ability and focus ability) then it should be much easier than it already is. Reminder, it's a game.
Besides, there's no point in trying to fight every single enemy either.
...Yeah no this is the most difficult adult turn-based RPG I have ever played, by a ginormous margin.
And if all you did was spam abilities, you actually made it harder on yourself.
Not to mention that if you're avoiding combat, you're trying to play this as a stealth game. It isn't a stealth game.
Difficulty is highly relative the person playing obviously. Compared to most of what's out there though, especially the Japanese stuff, the game is fairly easy currently (though if you want it to be easier, remember that the clips are removable). It is indeed mostly a matter of swapping between the normal attack and the special, with an occasional re-up of energy, and unless you get unlucky with RNG the hardest part should mostly just be the slowness of wading through the encounters and making sure you don't waste items.
And I hate to be harsh, but avoiding combat is absolutely a valid and intended strategy here. It's a trade-off: You cover ground faster if you succeed, but if you fail you'll probably get swarmed and have to deal with several encounters back-to-back. So you can cautiously snipe everyone, or just open up a window and run through, the choice is up to the player. It's certainly not a serious stealth game with hiding mechanics and all that, but the enemies are actual sprites rather than random tile encounters for a reason.

Would be great if you make anything to push enemies away so you wont have multiple battles arow without stats refilling.+Would be great if you make a quick tutorial and point out on "patch up" and "focus" abilities (because this took me 1.5 walkthroughs (and alot more time) to found out about these abilities)

No, the "stacking" effect can be annoying, but it's intentional. It's risk/reward: try to rush through quick and risk getting surrounded like that, or go more methodically so you can be sure you have a chance to patch up after every battle. I probably won't add a scene guide inside the game, although there will probably be a gallery at some point in the distant future (new chapters are a higher priority). Not sure what you mean by multiple enemies at one sprite, but if you're talking about multiple enemy types in a battle, maybe. The scripting for that gets complicated considering all the extra stuff I'm doing for the sex system, and I probably won't make any changes to this chapter, but we'll see on future ones.
By multiple sprites i mean... well basicly if theres more than 1 enemy they all gonna join in sex scene VISUALLY (just standing behind pleasing themself,or changing whole action.)

So, going to be honest, I'm not usually into this kinda stuff; namely gay and/or furry, but HOLY SHIT, this is fantastic.
For some context, it's worth noting that I actually enjoyed those elements in this one, possibly due to my liking for hypnosis, and it just works so well. I've also had FAR too many encounters with games made in RPG Maker and the like that seem to want to spend the first 20-40 minutes setting up the universe via dialog and no gameplay, but this one is short and sweet before letting you get right into it.
About the only things I found somewhat irritating, was Mezz's proclivity to miss, and how during h-grabs in combat, that sometimes if there are multiple assailants, one will still "reach out for Mezz" repeatedly, trapping me in endless grabs until I struggle free (which being honest, the low chance of success on those is a bit irritating as well) or hit max lust. Found myself losing against standard enemies quite often from missing 2 out of 3 skill use hits and then getting locked into hypnosis for most the rest of battle cause of the somewhat heavy energy cost.
Overall though I find myself weirdly anxious and giddy to see what comes next in this (dono'd $5, I ain't got much, but you more than deserve it).

As someone who's been far too into both the hypno thing and these kinds of games for far too long, I think both have a lot of untapped potential. "Furry" started as a fandom around the "funny animal characters" Disney, Warner and others were doing, and the whole reason they were drawing talking animals in the first place was that it's easy mode to make something aesthetically, emotionally and psychologically appealing, far more so than a human character. The fact that "furry" artists have flubbed this "on a silver platter" potential so much that "furry" is synonymous with disgust, horror and cringe is wild. I'm far from a master artist, but I'd like to think Mezz at least has his moments.
And yes, a lot of first-time RPG makers get a little too caught up in the ordinary, boring stuff (a lot of VN makers too for that matter). I didn't just decide to make a porn game one day, I've been marinating in this stuff for years, so I know that pain firsthand. Decent pacing was a big priority going into this, so I'm glad that comes across.
Yeeeah, RNG in RPGMaker. If you've looked at some of the other comments (if not I don't blame you, there's a lot to dig through) this has been my bane so far with CS. It's a lot better now than it used to be: I had to implement a bunch of new systems to put a cap on things so if, for example, you try and fail to struggle out 3 times, the fourth is an auto-success. Same thing with grabs and a bunch of thing, because otherwise it often went on FOREVER. There's something odd with the RPGMaker RNG where it seems to get "stuck" sometimes rather than genuinely re-rolling each time. This makes the chance for an action to succeed frustrating to try to control because "90% success rate" will mean instant success one time, and FIVE FAILS IN A ROW the next. All of this is to say that if you're having a battle with a ton of misses or fails, I feel the pain and haven't been able to tune it much better yet. In testing I'll often do a battle against a set of enemies and barely scrape by, then fight them again later and absolutely obliterate them. But, efforts are ongoing, and like I said, better than it was.
That said, if you have multiple enemies they should only keep grabbing you until one succeeds in pulling you into sex. After that the rest should flip to using either the "enjoys the show" skill or the skill to participate in the action. If there are still grabs after one succeeds, that may mean there's a bug I need to hunt, so let me know if you can reproduce it consistently.
But again, thanks. Seeing stuff like this helps a lot during the long slog of development (though I am still a bit excited about Chapter 2 myself.)
